Min personlige historie med Cana Care - DEL 1 Min personlige historie med Cana Care - DEL 1

My personal story with Cana Care - PART 1

Ever since I was a little girl, I loved making things happen. My favorite games often revolved around production, buying, and selling, and I can’t count how many “perfumes” infused with rose or dandelion petals and mixed in disposable cups from the local snack bar I sold over the years. I loved it.

I've been through a lot, always worked hard – preferably with multiple jobs at once – and took pride in every bit of growth I could engage with.

So, it came naturally to me to do a thorough market analysis when the editor of my second book reached out, asking about a topic I had written on: that it might be beneficial for pregnant women prone to leg cramps and poor sleep to apply magnesium. What kind of product was this, where could it be found, and how did it actually feel?

To my great dismay – and delight – there was honestly nothing to write home about. This meant that I, of course, had to be the one to create some effective, pleasant-to-use products for pregnant women, preferably to help with all the discomforts that could be eased or alleviated through the body’s largest organ: the skin.

I contacted some skilled chemical engineers in Jutland and presented them with my idea: a magnesium serum for the body and an intensely warming cream, which should be so user-friendly that even the most challenged pregnant woman could benefit from it – even if she didn’t have a partner to help apply it.

That was back in the summer of 2018, and after countless tests, adjustments, reformulations, and countless hours in the lab, we stood in early 2021 with two finished products.

RELAX was launched in February, followed by HEAT in April.

My goal for success was actually to sell about half within a year – but the viral effect kicked in quickly, and within a few short weeks, I had to announce that both products were sold out. A roaring success that gave me plenty of work and fueled my ambition. But there was just one challenge: I was heavily pregnant with my third child and determined to take some kind of maternity leave without packing orders from my kitchen window, as I (and my husband) had diligently done until now…

Should I put the next production on hold? Or should I already consider hiring an employee for my brand-new business?
