For some people it takes a little more effort to enjoy the warming sensation from HEAT, but once it starts, it can really make a big difference. The first thing to try if you do not feel as much warmth from HEAT as you would like is to apply more of the product. Next, you can try activating the heat by adding warmth either externally or from within — for example with a very warm cloth, about a minute with a hair dryer, or 10 minutes of exercise so your body becomes warm internally. Remember that for most people the warmth will quickly spread afterwards, and it can often be reactivated in the same way for up to 24 hours, again and again using these simple tricks.

We recommend applying RELAX to the skin where it feels best and where you want soothing. For most people this will typically be on the legs or arms, but it can also be used on the back, neck, or stomach.

Yes, that's fine, but for children we always recommend starting with REST. Active children, or children prone to growing pains or similar, can benefit greatly from RELAX or REST.
