REST roll on is excellent for children, provided you are careful to roll around cuts and scrapes, as the high salt concentration can otherwise sting. Some children may experience a tingling sensation on the skin — this is not dangerous at all, and can be relieved by moistening the skin with water and, if needed, applying a mild lotion afterwards. For very young children, or children with eczema or a tendency to sensitive skin, our magnesium-rich body lotion EASE may be a better alternative.

The primary difference between RELAX and REST is the concentration of magnesium. REST is slightly milder than RELAX, so we typically recommend it for use before bedtime, where most people will have a better experience with REST than with RELAX.
